Sometimes when a team is struggling the best thing to do is work harder.

The other approach is the one St. Pat's volleyball coach Shelly Byrn went with. After suffering a winless day at the North Platte Community College volleyball tournament on Saturday, she gave her team Monday off from practice.

Paxton, Kearney Catholic win North Platte CC tournament

Paxton and Kearney Catholic each went 3-0 Saturday in their respective divisions in winning the North
Platte Community College Volleyball Tournament.

On their way to the championship, Paxton defeated Maxwell 25-17, 19-25 and 25-4; SMC 25-8 and 25-11; and Eustis-Farnam 25-18 and 25-15.

No. 10 Paxton wins pair at Brady triangular

BRADY - Fresh off of a D-1 No. 10 ranking in the NebVolleyball.com rankings, Paxton traveled to Brady to take on both the Lady Eagles and the SMC Cyclones.

The Lady Tigers (4-0) opened with a tough 25-19, 26-24 win over Brady and then dismantled the Lady Cyclones 25-8, 25-16.
