Schuyler's season ends against YorkClick to view story in Columbus Telegram
LINCOLN — Schuyler’s season came to an end Tuesday in the first round of the B-4 District with a 25-10, 25-16, 25-15 loss to conference rival York.
“We didn’t seem to find any fluency tonight in our effort,” Schuyler coach Jon Knutson said. “We had a few bright moments, but we made too many errors to compete.”
Schuyler sweeps David CitySCHUYLER — The Schuyler Warriors picked up its third win of the season Thursday, downing David City 25-18, 25-14, 25-10.
The Warriors attack was paced by Logan Drueppel’s nine kills. Teammates Elyse Muhle and Megan Glodowski each finished with five in the win. Setter Kelsey Knutson set up the attack with solid passing and finished with 23 assists.
The Warriors host Wahoo Neumann, Nebraska City and Omaha Duchesne Saturday, at their home tournament.
PREVIEW CLASS B - SchuylerThe Warriors (7-10) defeated Crete in the first round of districts in five sets, but were swept by Seward in the district finals.

David City defeats SchuylerShayla Novak had 13 kills and 17 digs, while Kacy Sutton had 30 assists for David City. Kala Kovar added seven ace serves and 23 digs.
Columbus Lakeview defeats Boone Central in finals of tournamentALBION — Boone Central won its pool before falling to Columbus Lakeview 25-15, 25-17 at the Boone Central Invitational.
Boone Central downed Schuyler 13-25, 25-20, 25-19 and O’Neill 25-22, 16-25, 25-18 in pool play.
Central City defeated Creighton 25-22, 25-18 as Lexie Malm had eight kills and four blocks. Jordanne Speer had five kills and six digs.

SCHUYLER — The Shamrocks weren’t prepared. And it showed at the start.
Tuesday, the Class C-1, No. 2 Scotus Central Catholic volleyball team headed to Schuyler to face the Warriors, in a match not too many expected to be competitive. That is, everyone except the Warriors themselves.

Schuyler takes down BlairSCHUYLER — The Warriors beat the Bears 25-11, 23-25, 25-9, 25-15 Thursday to up their season wins to five.
Megan Glodowski had 11 kills, while Logan Drueppel had 10 and Elyse Muhle had eight. Kelsey Knuton had 34 set assists and five ace serves, while Muhle and Drueppel each had four blocks. Molly Ladwig had 19 digs for Schuyler.
The Warriors are back in action Tuesday at Class B, No. 3 Lincoln Pius X.
