North Bend Central goes 1-1 at tournamentPENDER — North Bend compiled a 1-1 record Thursday night at the Northeast Volleyball Classic.
The Tigers lost 25-23, 25-23 to Fremont Bergan.
Ashley Dvorak had eight kills and 16 digs for the Tigers. Steph Settles had five kills and Mallory Hull had 17 digs.
Lady Knights earn two wins in classic PENDER -- Fremont Bergan opened its volleyball season Thursday night with a pair of wins in the Northeast Volleyball Classic.
The Knights defeated North Bend 25-23, 25-23 and Pender 25-20 and 25-9.
North Bend Central defeats Pender, Emerson-HubbardEMERSON — North Bend picked up a pair of volleyball victories at the Pender Triangular.
The Tigers downed Pender 25-17, 25-20.
Stephanie Settles had six kills while Mallory Hull and Amy Baumert had four each. Julia Minarick contributed three kills, five ace serves and seven set assists.
