Exeter-Milligan wins Nebraska Lutheran Invite

WACO – The Exeter-Milligan Timberwolves improved their season record to 15-1 on Saturday as they went 3-0 at the Nebraska Lutheran Invite.

The No. 3 team in Class D-1 according to the Omaha World-Herald defeated Omaha St. Peter Claver 25-3, 25-11, took down the hosts 25-18, 25-12 and then capped it off with a win over the Shelby/Rising City Huskies 25-15, 25-21.

Against Omaha SPC, the Timberwolves were led by Jackie Luzum with eight kills and seven aces. Megan Zwicki added six kills and Erica Yound had five ace serves.

Ratings Comments: It might be easier to discuss which teams didn't move. The top spot has become a revolving door, as new No. 1 Sandy Creek fell in five at Fillmore Central on Monday, meaning there will likely be a fourth No. 1 in as many weeks.
