The Phil Gradoville Invitational at Omaha Bryan High School wil be played Friday and Saturday.

Plattsmouth, Bellevue West Omaha Burke and Omaha Northwest will be in Pool A. Omaha Benson, Omaha Bryan, Omaha North and Omaha South will be in Pool B. Admission will be $6 for adults and $4 for students.

OMAHA NORTH
Six Omaha North seniors went out with retired head coach Lori Danner last season, including Kira Luxon, who led the Vikings with 171 kills and 20 blocks.
The Vikings finished 9-14 in Danner’s 10th and final season at North and were swept by Elkhorn in the first round of districts.
Other starters who graduated were Kelsey Denman, who led the team with 170 digs and 36 ace serves, and Ashley Young, who had 105 kills, 57 digs and nine blocks.

Omaha North Sarah Rittenhouse was hired in March as the new Omaha North volleyball coach.

OMAHA - Sarah Rittenhouse was named the new head volleyball coach at Omaha North High Magnet School.

"We're extremely excited and fortunate to have Rittenhouse bring her experience at a high level of volleyball to share with our student athletes," said Dan Bartels, Athletic Director at Omaha North High Magnet School.

Rittenhouse was a four-year starting setter at NCAA Division II Southwest Minnesota State University, including two-time 1st Team All-Conference honors in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.
