OAKLAND - Fremont Bergan discovered a soothing remedy Tuesday night for the blue feeling left over from Saturday's Centennial Conference tournament.
The Lady Knights won a pair of matches in easy fashion over Oakland-Craig 25-11, 25-11 and Logan View 25-7, 25-17 during a triangular played at Oakland. Bergan, now 17-6, had seen a seven-game win streak come to an end Saturday when it lost all three of its matches.

Tekamah-Herman wins pair of games at triangularClick to view story in Fremont Tribune
OAKLAND - Tekamah-Herman swept a pair of matches Tuesday night at the Oakland-Craig Volleyball Triangular.
The Tigers defeated Stanton 25-14, 26-28, 25-19 before downing the host school 25-17, 25-10. The wins improve Tekamah-Herman to 11-3 overall, including 4-1 in the East Husker Conference.
Settles, Hull lead North Bend CentralAKLAND -- Stephanie Settles had 10 kills and Mallory Hull had seven as North Bend defeated Oakland-Craig 25-7, 25-10, 25-20 Tuesday night in high school volleyball.
Amy Baumert added six kills, five ace serves and 10 digs for the Tigers. Julia Minarcik had 16 set assists and five kills. Livi Flamme had seven assists. Alle Flamme had six ace serves.
The Tigers play Saturday at the David City Invitational.
Oakland-Craig's Prenzlow signs with Midland Lutheran CollegeMorgan Prenzlow of Oakland-Craig High School has signed a letter of intent to play for the Warriors in the fall.
