MITCHELL — Facing a one-set hole early in its last home match of the season, the Mitchell Tigers weren’t about to let rival Morrill spoil Senior Night for three seniors making their last appearance on the volleyball court Tuesday at Mitchell High School.
The Tigers shrugged off a slow start to make sure that didn’t happen by posting a 19-25, 25-19, 25-8, 25-15 win to improve their season record to 15-4.

SCOTTSBLUFF - Some of the top players from around the region reported for practice Wednesday in preparation for this year’s West Nebraska All-Star Volleyball Match.
This year’s contest marks the silver anniversary of the event. The match will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Western Nebraska Community College in Scottsbluff.
