McCook Community College loses to Eastern WyomingRead story in Scottsbluff Star-Herald
TORRINGTON, Wyo. — The Eastern Wyoming College volleyball team came close to walking away from the first day of the Wyo-Braska Shootout on Thursday with an unbeaten record.
But the Lancers, who opened the day with a convincing win over McCook Community College, couldn’t muster quite enough firepower late Thursday night to overcome Air Force Prep in a five-set thriller.
Central CC sweeps McCook CC MCCOOK - A long roadtrip to McCook didn’t bother the Central Community College volleyball team.
The Raiders swept the season series from McCook Community College in taking a 25-14, 25-17, 25-14 win Wednesday in McCook.
“McCook is really a tough place to play,” CCC coach Mary Young said. “It’s a small atmosphere and very loud. It was a long road trip. McCook really fought hard as it seemed like they scored more than 14 points in sets one and three.”

COLUMBUS - The Central Community College volleyball team doesn’t like messy play.
After committing 15 errors in the first set against McCook Community College Wednesday at the Raider Fieldhouse, the National Junior College Athletic Association Division II No. 7 Central played much better in sweeping McCook 25-21, 25-10 and 25-10.
