Field set for RPAC Tournament

Teams have been seeded and are ready to begin play in the opening rounds of the Republican Plains Athletic Conference at 4 sites Monday, Oct. 17th. The Conference features 3 Omaha World Herald top ten teams including #5 Paxton and # 6 Hitchcock County in D-1 and class D-2 #1 rated Bertrand. Teams are seeded according to win-loss record and winning percentage.

Loomis goes 2-0 at home triangular with Arapahoe, Maywood

LOOMIS - Loomis finished 2-0 at its home triangular Tuesday to improve to 4-0 on the season.

Loomis defeated Arapahoe 25-21, 25-27, 25-14 and Maywood 25-9, 25-7.
In the other match, Arapahoe (2-1) defeated Maywood 25-11, 25-8.

Sutherland sweeps Maywood

The problem with team records is they can be deceiving.

With Sutherland's win on Tuesday against visiting Maywood, the Lady Sailors volleyball team improved to 10-10 on the season. However, according to Sutherland head coach Valerie Kershner, the 25-16, 25-20, 25-14 victory was needed.
