The 26 members of the volleyball teams were nominated by their respective high school coach and selected by the all-star coaches.

DALTON - Fresh off winning its sixth consecutive Minuteman Activities Conference Tournament championship on Saturday, the Leyton volleyball team continued gaining steam as the regular season winds down by collecting a pair of wins over Banner County and Potter-Dix in a triangular held Tuesday night in Dalton.
Leyton, ranked No. 9 in Class D-2 (Omaha World-Herald), had little trouble in either match. The Warriors opened with a 25-10, 25-20 sweep over Banner County before sweeping Potter-Dix 25-21, 25-12 in a rematch of Saturday's MAC title match.
NebVolleyball/Jones Insurance Agency Inc. Oct. 3 Rankings Papillion-LaVista swept Class B's new top team Lincoln Pius X in in the finals of the Lincoln Northeast Tournament, while former Class B No. 1 Gretna was defeated for the first time this season. Earlier last week, Kearney Catholic was defeated by Grand Island Central Catholic, switching up the rankings in C1. D1 BDS lost to Class C2 Blue Hill, but remains atop in D1 as does Bertrand in D2 and Lutheran High Northeast in C2 in this week’s Oct. 3 NebVolleyball/Jones Insurance Agency, Inc. Rankings for each classification.

DALTON - After dropping matches to Bridgeport and Perkins County on Saturday at the Bridgeport Tournament, No. 10 rated Leyton (Class D-2 Omaha World Herald) found itself back on track after derailing Garden County 25-4, 25-22; and Bayard 25-8, 25-13 Tuesday night at Leyton High School.
The wins extend the Warriors' record to 9-2 on the season.

OSHKOSH – The Leyton Lady Warriors find themselves ranked just outside the top 10 in the latest Class D-2 nebvolleyball.com/Jones Insurance high school volleyball rankings.
The Lady Warriors (5-0, 1-0 in D-2 District 12) are listed as contenders in Class D-2 by nebvolleyball.com on the heels of their championship at the Garden County Tournament Saturday during which they beat Creek Valley 25-17, 25-12; Garden County 25-12, 25-17; and South Platte 25-18, 25-15.
