KEARNEY - The University of Nebraska at Kearney went undefeated in their opening spring tournament against Hastings College and some past UNK legends on Wednesday night at UNK.
The UNK Blue team, which consisted of Katie Sokolowski, Ariel Krolikowski, Shelby Workman, Jenna Rouzee, Ellie Pesavento and Haley Lake went 2-0 with 3-0 victories over Hastings College Crimson and Hastings College Black.
UNK Spring Volleyball Schedule Announced; Lopers Home TwiceKEARNEY. - The Nebraska-Kearney volleyball team will begin its spring schedule next week with a home tournament.
The Lopers will host the Legends Classic on Wednesday, March 16th, at the Health & Sports Center. There will be two teams from both UNK and Hastings College as well as a squad of Loper Legends.
On Saturday, April 2nd, UNK will play in the UNO Power Invite in Omaha. Opponents and times are TBA at this point.
Hastings College announces 2011 recruitsHASTINGS - Hastings College has announced several members of its Class of 2011 recruiting class.
According to Hasting College Head Coach Lori Willadsen, the 2011 class includes:

Hastings College takes set off unbeaten Northwestern, but loses in four setsORANGE CITY, Iowa - Fourth-ranked Northwestern volleyball team remained unbeaten on the season with a 3-1 win over Hastings College here Saturday.
Game scores were 25-22, 22-25, 25-16 and 25-21. Northwestern improves to 25-0 and 9-0 in the Great Plains Athletic Conference.
Hillary Hanno had 15 kills and 14 digs for the Red Raiders while teammate Kaitlin Beaver had 32 assists. Rylee Hulstein had 12 digs and six kills.
