ANSLEY — Kara Ostrand (18) and Siera Rohde (16) combined for 34 service points to lead undefeated Ansley to a 25-15, 25-20, 25-13 victory over Elba/North Loup-Scotia (0-3).

Rohde led the Warriors (6-0) with 11 kills and five ace blocks.

Giltner rolls to straight-set win over Harvard

HARVARD — Giltner defeated Harvard 25-11, 25-22, 25-19.

Lisa Lockmon (14), Molly Ocker (13), Anna Williams (7) and Chelsie White (5) combined for 39 kills in the match to pace Giltner. Danielle Hastings added 28 assists and Abbey Preissler added four ace serves for the Hornets.

Shelton starts season 3-0

SHELTON — Shelton opened the season 3-0 at its own quadrangular Thursday night in area high school volleyball action.

The Bulldogs opened with a 25-7, 25-13 win over Harvard. Kalli Brannagan had seven aces for Shelton, while Lexie Brandt added 10 set assists.
