LINCOLN - What is Lee Sayer going to do?
Both Clay Center and Greeley-Wolbach have advanced to tomorrow's 11:30 a.m. championship game at the NU Coliseum, the superintendent - of both schools - has a decision to make.
"Our girls were asking him this morning what color shirt he would wear tomorrow if we met," Greeley-Wolbach coach Todd Beck said. "Now, I guess we'll find out."
Greeley-Wolbach sweeps Nebraska ChristianGREELEY — Greeley-Wolbach downed Nebraska Christian (2-17) 25-11, 25-14, 25-20.
Jami Nekoliczak (6), Schuyler Erickson (5) and Krista Kolar (5) combined for 16 kills for the Titans (17-1). Darian Erickso added 12 set assists and five ace serves while Nekoliczak added 11 assists and one ace block.

Last season, the Titans earned their first state appearance at the state volleyball and were defeated by eventual champion Ewing.

Imagine being in Todd Beck’s situation as the coach of Cedar Valley.
He’s getting to coach a team that has four of its top attackers back from Greeley-Wolbach, who was the D-2 state champion that went 33-1. On top of that, he also gets Cedar Rapids players, who returns two starters from a 14-14 season.

ST. PAUL — The Greeley-Wolbach Titans proved there’s strength in numbers Thursday night, as the Titans secured a spot in next week’s state volleyball tournament with a victory in the Class D-2, District 4 Championship.
The Titans defeated Pleasanton 25-22, 25-23, 25-19 in a match that probably wasn’t as close as it looked. And the lion’s share of the credit for the win goes to the G-W front line, which overwhelmed the Bulldog defense by consistently being able to hit from all angles, regardless of who was in the lineup.
