Nebraska Coaches Association All-Star game rosters releasedThe Nebraska Coaches Association has finalized the rosters for the 2012 NCA All-Star Volleyball team.
The 29th annual all-star volleyball match will be played on Tuesday, July 24, at Lincoln North Star High School beginning at 7:00 p.m.

GRAND ISLAND — Alyssa Frauendorfer pounded 31 kills to lead Humphrey to its first Class D-1 state volleyball championship Saturday at the Heartland Events Center.
Humphrey, making its first state appearance, defeated top-ranked Exeter-Milligan 25-22, 17-25, 25-22, 25-20 to earn the title.

In a matchup of the top two teams in the class, No. 1 Exeter-Milligan outlasted BDS for a 25-13, 25-20, 23-25, 32-30 win.
"It was a crazy game," Timberwolves coach Darcy White said. "In my mind (in the fourth set), I was thinking, ‘Which girls is going to step up and make the big play?" White said. "It wasn't like they were tipping, everybody was playing great D. Both sides each wanted to get the kill to end the game."

YORK - After the first set that saw the Exeter-Milligan Timberwolves prevail with a 29-27 win, most people figured they were going to be in their seats for quite awhile.
But the tide changed midway through set number two and the Exeter-Milligan Timberwolves went on to sweep the Bruning-Davenport-Shickley Eagles by the scores of 25-20 and 25-13 over the final two sets to capture the Crossroads Conference Tournament Championship at the York City Auditorium on Thursday night.
