COZAD - The Lady Irish of St. Pat's improved their season record to 4-1 Thursday as they swept by Cozad and Broken Bow in the Cozad Volleyball Triangular.
St. Pat's had little trouble in dismantling the Lady Haymakers in their first match, 25-12, 25-13, but after downing Broken Bow in the first set 25-16, the Lady Indians proved a stiff test in the second before falling 25-21.

Haymaker volleyball remains winless after tough Valentine tourneyClick to read story in Lexington Clipper-Herald
VALENTINE – The Cozad Lady Haymakers’ volleyball team made some giant steps during the Valentine volleyball tournament on Saturday.
Unfortunately, it didn’t lead to any wins.
The Lady Makers won sets in their final two matches over the weekend, but were unable to close the match, as Cozad fell to 0-21 on the season after going 0-3 at the Valentine Tournament.

CAMBRIDGE - If head coach Krystal Weber can figure out a way for her McCook volleyball team to quit making simple mistakes, the Bison girls will certainly be an improved team.
The Bison gained their second match win of the season Tuesday, Sept. 28, against Cozad at the Cambridge triangular meet played at the Cambridge High School gym. McCook topped the Haymakers in straight sets (25-23, 25-19), then loss to the host Trojans 25-18, 25-19.

Cozad returns six letterwinners

COZAD – The Cozad Lady Haymakers volleyball team was hoping to pull off their first victory of the season with an upset, giving them a good start to the week.
But then the Class C-1 No. 7 Minden Lady Whippets showed up.
The seventh-ranked looked beatable Monday night, but were still too much to handle for Cozad, as the Whippets took care of the Haymakers in straight sets 25-17, 25-16, 25-21.
