COLUMBUS — It’s one thing to set a school record, but it’s an entirely different thing to make a mark on the state record books as well. That just goes to show how impressive Molly Gotschall’s play was on the volleyball court in 2011.

Gotschall, a junior at Lakeview High School, left her stamp on the record books this season by setting two state records. The Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) recently confirmed that Gotschall set the Class C-1 record for digs in a season and digs per match in a season.
