Chambers preseason favorite to win Class D2CHAMBERS – In class D-2, no team had a summer quite as strong as the Chambers Coyotes.
June and July were full of team and individual workouts, finally culminating with the Top Ten team camp in Kearney.
Let's just say the competition came away impressed.

NORFOLK – The two most valuable players at the 12th annual Northeast Nebraska All-Star Classic traveled different paths - literally and figuratively - to earn the accolades Friday night (June 19).
Ewing's Hayley Thramer arrived at Northeast Community College just hours prior to the match that featured the top players from Northeast and North Central Nebraska.

CLASS D2 - Chambers rallies to hold off Sacred Heart|

LINCOLN - Second-seeded Chambers found itself down two games to one in the first round of the D2 State Tournament, but found its rhythm in the final two sets to advance over Falls City Sacred Heart at Lincoln Southwest High School on Thursday afternoon.
The Irish came out strong in the first set, dominating the Lady Coyotes 25-14. Chambers came back in the second set to even the match, ending up on the winning side of a 25-22 game.
But the Irish continued to look impressive, taking a two sets to one lead with a 25-17 win in the third set.
Chambers sweeps Ewing in NVC Power StruggleCHAMBERS - With a pair of teams that had combined to start their respective seasons 40-2, Friday night's matchup between the recent volleyball powers of the Niobrara Valley Conference appeared to be a great bout.
But about an hour after the match started, there were no doubts as to which squad among Chambers and Ewing would set the bar for the NVC in the season's final two weeks.
The No. 1 Chambers Coyotes (23-1) made quick work of the No. 6 Ewing Tigers, dispatching the defending State Champions in a rather routine 25-14, 25-11, 25-18 sweep that left Ewing (18-2) with just its second loss.
Class D2 - Notes for week of Sept. 20-26Ratings Comments: Much like some other classes, the top half is fairly stable while the bottom half is less stable. The bottom five teams have been rotating spots, but all five are solidly in the top ten right now.
