CAIRO — Hastings St. Cecilia (14-7) won two matches at the Centura Triangular by downing Broken Bow 25-8, 25-14 and topping host Centura 25-17, 22-25, 27-25.

Anjelica Young had 17 assists and five ace serves for the Centurions, while Megan Moss had eight kills and Lanae Lytle five blocks.

The Centurions (9-11) downed Broken Bow (7-13) 25-22, 21-25, 25-19 behind Moss’s eight kills and 11 digs and Young’s 14 assists.

SCOTTSBLUFF - Some of the top players from around the region reported for practice Wednesday in preparation for this year’s West Nebraska All-Star Volleyball Match.

This year’s contest marks the silver anniversary of the event. The match will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Western Nebraska Community College in Scottsbluff.

The 2nd Annual NebVolleyball High School and Collge Preview Magazine is now available for purchase at more than 190 retail locations across the state of Nebraska.
