ANSLEY - Anselmo-Merma participated in the Ansley Triangular on Thursday and lost to both the host Ansley and Twin Loup, which is the co-op of Sargent and Loup City.
Anselmo-Merna lost to Twin Loup 25-23, 25-19. Janae Hostick was 30-of-32 setting with eight assists, Katie Kirkpatrick had 12 digs and Victoria Downey had six service points.
Anselmo-Merna sweeps South LoupCALLAWAY — Sadie Hunt and Jessie Burnett each tallied seven kills to lead Anselmo-Merna to a 25-10, 25-19, 25-17 over South Loup Friday.
Tessa Schipporeit added 21 set assists and Tori Downey had five ace serves for Anselmo-Merna.
Ansley cruises over Anselmo-Merna, Pleasanton at triangularPLEASANTON - Top-ranked Ansley cruised to two more victories (25-21, 25-9 over Anselmo-Merna and 25-15, 25-13 over Pleasanton) at the Pleasanton triangular on Tuesday.
In the other match, Anselmo-Merna downed Pleasanton 25-16, 25-13.

Elm Creek wins Amherst Tournament over Anselmo-MernaElm Creek 2, Anselmo-Merna 0
AMHERST - Elm Creek got the win over Anselmo-Merna 25-23, 25-20 in the championship match of the Amherst Tournament.
Kim Ourada had five kills and one ace serve for Elm Creek. Aisha Bourke compiled seven assists and nine digs.

Ansley starts season with 2-0 recordSARGENT — Class D1 No. 9 Ansley opened the season with a pair of victories at the Sargent triangular, defeating Anselmo-Merna 25-9, 25-15 and Sargent 25-19, 25-16.
Taylor Rohde had five kills and three ace serves to lead Ansley against Anselmo-Merna, while teammate Chelsea Entz had 12 poinits and Kara Ostrand had 12 assists. Siera Rohde had 16 points and six assists for the Warriors against Sargent, while Chelsea Entz had five aces and three kills and Tazalea Scott had 12 digs.
