ALLIANCE - The Scottsbluff volleyball team enjoyed a solid team performance Tuesday en route to defeating Class B, District 8 foe Alliance 25-10, 25-21, 25-21 Tuesday night at Alliance High School.
The victory was the Bearcats' first win against the Bulldogs in three matches this season.

"I thought we played really well," Scottsbluff coach Megan Burda said. "They were able to move. I think our defense picked it up just a little bit, and I think we were kind of able to dictate the play of the game because we were so aggressive."

The Bison suffered through several injuries in the week leading up to the annual home tournament. But McCook ended the tournament in fourth place and was competitive in two losses after losing arguably four of the top varsity players on the roster.
