Howells downs Allen to advance to State TournamentWISNER - Howells advanced to the state volleyball tournament with a four-set victory over Allen in the Class D1-3 district final at Wisner-Pilger High School Thursday night.
Howells won 25-12, 20-25, 25-20, 25-14.
The Bobcats improved to 25-6 and qualify for the first time in three years.
Allen closes out the seaso 14-15.
