A three-year letterwinner at Pierce High School...racked up 868 kills in her career, setting a new school record...during her senior and junior season, she led the team in kills and hitting percentage while finishing second on the team in total blocks...her senior season she broke the school’s single season kills record with 410 as her team advanced to the district finals...was named to the Northeast Nebraska Elite Eight first team and the Mid-States All-Conference first-team her senior season...also named Omaha World Herald and Lincoln Journal Star All-State honorable mention...awarded the National Scholar Athlete Award, Pierce High School Female Athlete of the Year, and was named to the Northeast Nebraska All-Star Team...during her junior season was named Mid-States All-Conference Honorable Mention...Reed has also been a letterwinner in basketball and track...during her senior season she led her basketball team in points, rebounds and blocked shots ...selected to the all-conference team and three different all-state teams in basketball...qualified for state in four different events throughout her high school track career,with the last in the triple jump her senior season.
