2010 Outlook

Middle hitter that combines her physical ability with a great knowledge of the game ... Ranks in the top 10 most efficient hitters in program history after a breakout season in 2009 ... One of the Tigers' top options on the slide attack and is the Tigers' tallest hitter, which gives her the ability to hit over the top of blockers ... Is a vocal leader that has an ability to rally the team ... Does not need a lot of sets to total kills as she is an extremely efficient hitter ... Has an ability to keep her errors at a minimum ... Arguably the best pure blocker on the team as her height and court awareness makes her an imposing figure for opposing hitters ... Led the team with a .324 hitting percentage on the season, a clip that ranked her seventh in the Big 12 as well ... Her .324 clip raised her career average to .269, which is ninth-best in program history ... Had 25 more kills in 2009 than her previous two season as a Tiger combined, doing so on 22 less attack while committing 25 less errors ... Posted 220 kills on the season, third-best on the team and paced the team with 83 total blocks (13 solo, 73 assists) ... Hit .733 with a then career-best 12 kills against Colorado (10/7) ... Her .733 attack percentage is the ninth-best all-time at Mizzou, tying her with Lindsey Noll, who hit that clip back in 2004 against Nebraska ... Set her career-best 13 kills on two separate occasions, first at Kansas (10/24) on .433 hitting, helping the Tigers to a four-set win, and next at Colorado (11/14) on .385 hitting ... Hit better than .300 in 17 matches during the season and hit better than .500 in six of those matches, including better than .700 three times ... After hitting .733 (10/7) against Colorado, she hit .778 with seven kills against Texas Tech (10/10), giving her a .750 hitting percentage over those two consecutive matches ... Hit double figurers in kills seven times during the season and posted a kill in every match in which she played more than one set ... Had 11 kills at Utah Valley (9/5) on .381 hitting ... Hit .455 with 11 kills against Fairfield (9/12) ... Posted 12 kills on .500 hitting against Kansas (9/16) in the Tigers' Big 12 opener and had another great match at Kansas (10/24) when she posted her career-best 13 kills on .433 hitting ... When tallying double digits in kills during the season, she hit .436 and helped Mizzou to a 6-1 record in those matches with the only loss coming to Washington State who was an NCAA Tournament team ... Posted a career-best seven total blocks against Nebraska (10/16) at the Hearnes Center ... Had at least five blocks in five matches during the season and tallied a block in all but five matches in which she played in 2009 ... Posted 19 service aces on the season and accounted for 287.0 total points, which ranked third on the team ... Posted four service aces in the Tigers' sweep of Texas Tech (10/10) ... Had 21 kills during the Tiger Invitational, earning her a spot on the All-Tournament team and helping Mizzou to the tournament title ... Earned her third varsity letter with the Tigers.

2008

Played in 22 matches while earning starts in five en-route to her second varsity letter ... Totaled 83 total kills, 71 of which came during Big 12 play as she saw her role expand ... Had a career-best 12 kills at Kansas State (10/8) and had nine kills in a sweep of Colorado (10/22) ... Posted eight kills against UC Davis (11/13) in a three-set win which started a streak of six matches where she compiled 29 total kills ... Had 44 kills over an eight-match streak starting at Kansas State (10/8) and ending with the Tigers' home match against Texas Tech (11/1) ... Added 30 blocks, 22 digs and 20 assists while accounting for 101.0 total points ... Hit .203 on the season and .214 during Big 12 play.

2007

Played in 28 Tiger matches, gaining starts in 22 contests ... Tallied 1.14 kills per set and 1.70 points per set during the season ... Recorded six matches with five or more blocks, three matches with 10 or more kills, and three matches with more than one ace ... Notched a career-best 12 kills versus Kansas (9/19) and at Kansas (10/27) ... Had an errorless 10 kills on 12 attempts (.833) versus UMKC (9/12 ... Had a season-best three aces versus Baylor (11/2) ... Carded a season high seven blocks at Texas Tech (11/10) ... Recorded nine kills on .304 hitting, adding five blocks and an ace in the NCAA Tournament against Washington.

Was a four-time all-state selection at Omaha Gross Catholic, earning first-team honors in her junior and senior seasons ... In 2006, was named to AVCA's High School Senior All-American team ... Named to prepvolleyball.com's Senior Aces in 2006 and to the website's top-70 junior prospects in 2005 ... Named Super All-State in 2006 by the Omaha World Herald and All-State by the newspaper in 2005 and 2006 ...
