2010 Outlook

Middle hitter that combines her physical ability with a great knowledge of the game ... Ranks in the top 10 most efficient hitters in program history after a breakout season in 2009 ... One of the Tigers' top options on the slide attack and is the Tigers' tallest hitter, which gives her the ability to hit over the top of blockers ... Is a vocal leader that has an ability to rally the team ... Does not need a lot of sets to total kills as she is an extremely efficient hitter ... Has an ability to keep her errors at a minimum ... Arguably the best pure blocker on the team as her height and court awareness makes her an imposing figure for opposing hitters ... Led the team with a .324 hitting percentage on the season, a clip that ranked her seventh in the Big 12 as well ... Her .324 clip raised her career average to .269, which is ninth-best in program history ... Had 25 more kills in 2009 than her previous two season as a Tiger combined, doing so on 22 less attack while committing 25 less errors ... Posted 220 kills on the season, third-best on the team and paced the team with 83 total blocks (13 solo, 73 assists) ... Hit .733 with a then career-best 12 kills against Colorado (10/7) ... Her .733 attack percentage is the ninth-best all-time at Mizzou, tying her with Lindsey Noll, who hit that clip back in 2004 against Nebraska ... Set her career-best 13 kills on two separate occasions, first at Kansas (10/24) on .433 hitting, helping the Tigers to a four-set win, and next at Colorado (11/14) on .385 hitting ... Hit better than .300 in 17 matches during the season and hit better than .500 in six of those matches, including better than .700 three times ... After hitting .733 (10/7) against Colorado, she hit .778 with seven kills against Texas Tech (10/10), giving her a .750 hitting percentage over those two consecutive matches ...
