Former Husker Taylor Simpson announced with Florida State recruiting class
by Florida State Sports Information

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (seminoles.com) - Facing the departure of four seniors in the 2012 season, the Florida State University indoor volleyball team continues to reload as it added four talented signees who recently inked their National Letters of Intent for the upcoming year.

Head Coach Chris Poole and the Seminole indoor volleyball program added two talented outside hitters in University of Nebraska transfer Taylor Simpson and Western Wyoming Community College transfer Olivera Medic. FSU also signed two proven liberos in Laura Dadowski as well as twin sister Caroline Dadowski.

"We are very excited about adding these four young ladies, along with the great four freshmen we signed in our early signing period," Poole said. "The expectations are very high with the returning players we have and we feel we have been able to fill some holes left over from our graduating class. Our returning players had a great spring and the competition and level of overall play will be significant in practice this fall. We will have a lot of options in August and the summer will be an opportunity for players to make further strides."

LINCOLN — Coming to Nebraska from Sweden meant Cecilia Hall had a little harder transition to Division I volleyball than your average Husker recruit.

Upon arrival last July, Hall grappled with a language barrier, had to get acclimated to a faster playing tempo and wrapped her mind around the intensity of taking the floor in front of a packed house at the NU Coliseum.
